The «3T» company manufactured specialized transducers П311-5.0-6-12.7МКС by the order of “KROPUS” Scientific-production center. These contact-slotted direct sensors with a frequency of 5 MHz, designed to measure the thickness of steel sheets from 2 to 16 mm in the industrial ultrasonic complex.
Transducers are intended for work through a water layer up to 1 mm. They have for 5 MHz useful signals, extremely short on time, lasting not more than 0,43mks at a level of 20 dB, which is guaranteed to give a clear separation of multiple reflections at a minimum sheet thickness of 2 mm. Also transducers have an internal prism with a double delay of 12.7mks that provides two useful echo pulses at a thickness of the sheet 16 of mm inside "a prismatic window". Thus, transducers allow to apply an accurate and stable algorithm for determining thickness of a sheet by two bottom echo signals in all range of steel sheets thickness from 2 to 16 mm.
The "3T" company in cooperation with the companies "AKA-SCAN" (АКА-СКАН ) and "Scientific and Production Center ”KROPUS” (НПЦ КРОПУС ) began developing innovative transducers for the impedance method of nondestructive testing, used in the control of multi-layer composite and honeycomb materials, including aviation ones.
Such joint work is aimed at the creation of fundamentally new designs both combined transducers (СП), and separately-combined sensors (РСП). This will ensure high stability and repeatability of parameters, increase sensitivity to defects and significantly reduce the overall dimensions of transducers.
Fundamentally new construction of piezoacoustic module, and also using innovative polymer materials lie at the base of the new sensor designs.
New impedance transducers will be designed to work with flaw detectors ИД-91М, ИД-92НМ, ВЕКТОР, АД-60К (ID-91M, ID-92NM, VECTOR, AD-60K).
Production of П111 SENDAST - type transducers of 5 MHz for thickness gauging and flaw detection has begun. Transducers П111-5,0-6 SENDAST traditionally for this brand are of high (wear resistance) durability, low noise and give broadband useful signals on steel (duration less than 0.5 µs of the level-20dB). Transducers П111-5,0-6 SENDAST have distinctive ergonomics, adapted for convenient finger retention. The transducers are designed to work with any ultrasonic thickness gauges and general-purpose flaw detectors.

Transducers П111-2,5-12 give broadband useful signals (the duration is less than 1μs at a level of -20 dB) on steel and have an interesting ergonomics that is different from all, adapted for convenient finger retention. The transducers are designed to work with any ultrasonic thickness gauges and general-purpose flaw detectors.

Production of 10MHz TOFD П113-10.0-6-M12 transducers for diffraction-time method has been started. The first sample was submitted for testing in Scientific and Production Center ”KROPUS” (НПЦ КРОПУС ).

Upgrade of own «DeepDamp» technology for stable receiving broadband signals with frequency of 10MHz has been completed.
This result allows to begin serial production of П113…TOFD transducers with frequency of 10MHz before the end of 2016.
Also this result will be used when serial mastering production in 2017 of the wearproof angle beam П121…SENDAST transducers with a frequency of 10MHz and the wearproof П112 SENDAST transducers with a frequency of 10MHz for thickness meters.
Serial production of П323Н…SENDAST transducers for 2.5 MHz is begun. They are intended for ultrasonic testing armature as part of the mechanical and acoustic systems such as "MASK". The transdusers have traditional for SENDAST brand increased up to 8 times the resource of operation and extremely high broadband electro-acoustic characteristics. Serial production of this type of transducers is mastered in cooperation with LLC «NDT-CLUB». The first batch of the transducers П323Н-2,5-65-D40 are transferred to LLC «NDT-CLUB» for approbation.

Working off of manufacturing techniques of transducers for a Time-of-flight diffraction method is completed. Production of П113-5,0-6-M12 TOFD, П113-5,0-6-U3/8 TOFD, P113-2,5-12-M20 TOFD is begun. The first two types are transferred to «Kropus» for approbation.

Now nominal "arrow" is at П121-5.0-60 SENDAST - 5,5 mm, at П121-5.0-65 SENDAST - 6,0 mm, at П121-5.0-70 SENDAST - 6,5 mm, at П121-5.0-75 SENDAST - 8,0 mm, at the same time we succeeded to save the previous low level of own reverberation - noise performance in the area up to 15 microseconds after excitation - in the field, most sensitive to reduction of the arrow , that usually expresses sharp increase in intrinsic noises of the transducer.
Upgrade of manufacturing technologies of the P121-2.5-65 SENDAST and П121-2.5-70 SENDAST transducers is carried out. Nominal "arrow" is at П121-2.5-65 SENDAST is reduced from 12,5 mm to 10 mm. At П121-2.5-70 SENDAST it’s reduced from 13,5 mm to 11 mm. At that we succeeded to save the previous low level of own reverberation - noise performance which always tends to a sharp deterioration at small "arrows" of transducers in angle beam transducers.
