T-square Rels СОП

The RELS СОП T-square provides straight trajectory of ultrasonic П121 and П122 transducers movement on adjusting standard calibration blocks of СОП enterprise.

The T-square provides an arbitrary location of straight path on the calibration block, including the perpendicular (parallel) location of the trajectory to brinks of СОП.

The T-square is steady on flat blocks and pipe blocks with a diameter of 89 mm and more.

The T-square effectively increases the speed and accuracy of determining the following parameters:

  • Search and fixing a maximum echo signal from the defect on COП by a direct beam.
  • Search and fixing a maximum echo signal from the defect on СОП by a once reflected beam.
  • Setting scanning interval of a flaw detector.
  • Setting the sensitivity of a flaw detector.

NOTE

Geometry of T-square in combination with built in magnets and anti-slip pads fixes its position on the СОП calibration block.

Additional bearing brink of T-square simplifies perpendicular (parallel) installation of T-square to the СОП. In addition, it stabilizes the T-square steadiness.

The scale on the T-square increases the accuracy of position and orientation of the transducers to defects of the calibration block.
Inclined directing brink minimizes the friction of the transducer, improves the smoothness of movement, optically doesn’t close the entry point on the transducer.

T-square, in principle, does not fix the position of the transducer. It additionally allows you to quickly and clearly identify the azimuthal deflection of the beam by rotating the transducer, while maintaining a straight path of movement on СОП calibration block.
